ACCOUNTS SHOWING $0 BALANCES (RESOLVED December 16TH, 2021)
Wealthsimple has made updates to the API and new connections should see a balance now. If you have added a Wealthsimple Invest connection but see a $0 balance, please remove the connection and try to add it again. It should resolve the issue.
Adding a 2nd Wealthsimple Account
To add a second Wealthsimple account your will need to logout from the previously connected account on Wealthsimple web site/portal. You can do so by going here https://my.wealthsimple.com and logging out. Once you are logged out, you can repeat the add investment process within Weathica.
Is Wealthsimple Cash data available?
Yes Wealthsimple Cash data is reported using the Wealthsimple connector along with the Invest data.
Is Wealthsimple Trade data available?
Wealthsimple Trade data is reported through the Wealthsimple Trade connector. You will need to connect both the Wealthsimple and Wealthsimple Trade connector to sync data from all Wealthsimple products.
Book Value Showing Different Value from Wealthsimple Portal
Wealthica uses the "adjusted_book_value" returned by the Wealthsimple API. If you are seeing a wrong book value, please ask Wealthsipmle to fix it and mention that Wealthica uses adjusted_book_value which according to Wealthsimple can be “adjusted by client or advisor”.
